TRIBUNNEWSMAKER.COM – Three Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) are reportedly lost in the forest.
The three are known to be residents of Sambas, West Kalimantan.
They reportedly got lost when walking down the woods from Malaysia since Thursday (9/4/2020).
All three are known to be forced to return home after losing their jobs when the corona outbreak hit the country.
This was revealed by the Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Kapuas Hulu Gunawan.
He revealed, the three TKIs were Safari, Juli Hartono and Junaidi, Friday (6/26/2020).

“They are desperate to walk from Malaysia and entered the forest, with the intention of penetrating the forests in the Upper Kapuas, “he told Kompas.com.

According to Gunawan, initially there were six Sambas residents who decided to return home after there was no work at Malaysia.
They are Rifki, Holdi, Thamrin, Safari, Juli Hartono and Junaidi.
However, due to the lockdown policy at Malaysia, Cross-border National Post (PLBN) is closed.
