“For the manager, he has done an extraordinary job if success makes his players better. And they have become very, very much better,” he said.
Loris Karius was recruited by Liverpool in 2016 and was a mainstay. But his blunder in the 2018 Champions League final against Real Madrid made him never play again for the Reds in competitive matches.
Karius has spent the last two seasons on loan at Besiktas. According to TransferMarkt, his contract with Liverpool is still running until 30 June 2022.
