Salzburg against Lustenau fight for Austrian championship titles in the AHL,
Both Red Bull Hockey Juniors it was already after the first leg against VEU Feldkirch fixed: final. Salzburg won this game 9-1.
After the mode of Champions Hockey League was taken over, Feldkirch should have scored at least nine goals and should not have received any to reach the final.
The overall score was 15: 2 in favor of the Red Bull Hockey Juniors.
Lustenau was struggling
It was different in the second semi-final encounter between the EHC Lustenau and the KAC farm team out. The first leg went 4-2 to Vorarlberg.
In the second leg Markus Pirmann and Simon Hammerle for a 2-0 lead by Klagenfurt. At this point in the series it was balanced 4: 4.
The tour didn’t last long. Maximilian Wilfan and Chris D’Alvise soon equalized. KAC coach Kirk Furey risked everything, took his goalkeeper off the ice for an additional outfield player. Elias Wallenta made the final decision (3: 2).
Lustenau moved into the Austrian Alps Hockey League final with a total score of 7: 4.
The way to the title
The final will also be contested with a return leg. The mode from the semifinals remains valid in the final.
