Unrest among Girondin supporters grows as Bordeaux’s poor performance continues

The psychological shock did not occur at Bordeaux after the change of coach. After three matches, Albert Riera has only gleaned one point and FCGB undoubtedly delivered one of its worst performances of the season in Bastia (1-3) on Saturday during the 13th day of Ligue 2. While President Gérard Lopez questions the role of certain executives of the workforce or the club, impatience has increased a notch among Girondin supporters.

According to information from South West, around twenty dissatisfied supporters formed a “welcoming committee” at Bordeaux-Mérignac airport while the first team group was returning from Corsica. Police officers intervened to neutralize the situation. The skirmish only lasted a quarter of an hour, during which the players were asked to “get off your ass” and “be men”. The attacker Aliou Badjiwho only played 18 minutes in Bastia, was personally taken advantage of.
