Microsoft recently launched an Xbox Mastercard in the United States. Users can earn points by using this card to make purchases, which can be exchanged for games or additional content at the Xbox Store. Microsoft will first launch this new credit card to Xbox Insiders in the 50 states of the United States on September 21, and plans to launch it to general users in the 50 states in the United States in 2024.
The Xbox Mastercard is issued by Barclays and has no annual fee. The card owner will receive 5,000 card points, equivalent to US$50, when making his first purchase with this credit card, and will earn 1 card point for every US$1 spent thereafter. Accumulating 1,500 Card Points can be exchanged for a $15 Xbox Store gift card. Card owners can earn 5 Card Points for every $1 spent on designated products at the Microsoft Store, and every $1 spent on subscribing to designated streaming services such as Netflix or Disney+. Earn 3 card points. You can also earn 3 card points for every $1 you use on designated delivery services such as Grubhub or DoorDash.
If you are a new Game Pass member with Xbox Mastercard, you will also receive a 3-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate account. Even if you are already a Game Pass member, you can transfer these 3-month membership to relatives and friends.
The Xbox Mastercard comes in 5 designs, and card owners can also choose to add their own Gametag to the card. Xbox Insider test users in the 50 states of the United States can apply for this credit card on September 21, and Microsoft will issue this card in batches this fall to make it easier to earn points for shopping during the shopping season.
