From the beginning of June, five cases that have already been talked about a lot will come back to the fore. RMC Crime provides you with an update on these cases which will be resolved in the coming weeks.

Guy Trompat, Dino Scala or even Jean-Marc Reiser will be tried in June. Names that resonate in everyone’s mind for their involvement in high-profile cases.

This beginning of summer will be rich in legal twists since some criminal cases could experience an outcome. RMC Crime looks back on these 5 trials that will be held in the coming weeks.

Guy Trompat, June 2

He is a regular in the courts. The father of Kévin Trompat, whose body was found last March with that of his girlfriend Leslie, is on trial this Friday for “instigation to assassination not followed by effect and death threats materialized in writing, image or any other object in recidivism”. He is accused of having attempted to order the assassination of the defendants in the death of his son.

In videos posted on social networks, he said “we must massacre the five bastards who did this” or “I hope there are people who will do the same to the families of these bastards. J I have friends all over France. We’re looking”.

Tried before the correctional court of Niort (Deux-Sèvres), he faces a ten-year prison sentence, as reported West France.

Presumed murderer of Shaïna, from June 5 to 9

It’s a chilling case that will be tried next week. The alleged murderer of Shaïna, stabbed and burned alive at the age of 15, will appear before the Assize Court for minors in Beauvais (Oise). This is the young woman’s boyfriend, 17 years old at the time of the events, who is indicted after the discovery of Shaïna’s body in a garden shed in October 2019.

According The Parisian, the girl had just told him that she was pregnant with him when he decided to stab her in the stomach. This atrocious murder had moved the whole of France and particularly the city of Creil, where the facts took place.

Gabriel Fortin, from June 12

Gabriel Fortin will appear before the Assize Court of Valence (Drôme) for three murders and one attempted murder. This trial should last 3 weeks because of the numerous elements contained in the file.

Nicknamed the HRD killer, he is accused of having killed two human resources directors of the company which had just fired him, near Colmar (Haut-Rhin). Having become unemployed, this former engineer also killed an executive of the Pôle Emploi agency in Valence who had struck her off.

According France 3 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpeshe had also tried to kill two lawyers because he felt he had not been well defended.

Dino Scala, from June 14

The “rapist of the Sambre” will appear on appeal from June 14 and for a period of three weeks before the Assize Court of Saint-Omer (Pas-de-Calais). Already found guilty of 54 rapes and sexual assaults, Dino Scala had decided to appeal the decision taken by the Douai Assize Court on July 1, 2022, which decided to sentence him to 20 years’ imprisonment, accompanied by a security sentence.

In these cases, the man proclaims his innocence for sixteen cases of sexual assault. This is the whole point of this new trial, the new verdict of which should be delivered on July 4th.

Jean-Marc Reiser, from June 20 to 30

Already sentenced to life imprisonment with a 22-year security sentence for the murder of Sophie Le Tan, Jean-Marc Reiser has decided to appeal this decision. It is now up to the Assize Court of Colmar (Haut-Rhin) to look into his case.

If he had admitted to having killed the Strasbourg student and dismembered her body, he had insisted on the fact that he had not premeditated his gesture and that therefore he could not be condemned for assassination.
