In Carapeguá, after the blessing of the palms, families start the Chipa Apo, a tradition that joins young and old in making different types of chipa for the holy days.
Although, in general, the days for preparing chipa par excellence are Holy Tuesdays and Wednesdays, in Carapeguá they prepare it in advance involving all family members.
