Maquinac reports that Akron has unveiled the DJI Agras T40 mega drone.

Akron showed at Expoagro 2023 the expansion in Argentina of the line of DJI agricultural drones with the launch of the Agras T40 model.

It is a version with a 40-liter tank and 50 kg load capacity, suitable for spraying, fertilizing, cover planting and soil surveying, among other uses.

The new model expands the capacity of the already known Agras T30, presented in 2022.

The Agras T40 agricultural drone is equipped with the coaxial double rotor design to increase the load of products to be applied.

It has a 40-liter tank for the application of liquid products and can load up to 50 kg of solid fertilizers (70 liters).

The operation is completely electric, with two high-capacity batteries and quick recharge.

The drone operates with four arms equipped with two motors each and a dual atomization system integrated with the radar.

As a safety element, it has an active phased matrix anti-collision system plus binocular vision.

The Agras T40 drone offers a working width of 11 meters (spraying), reaching a working capacity of 21.3 hectares/hour.

The spraying speed is 12 liters/minute and it works with magnetic drive booster pumps and chemical corrosion prevention.

It features two centrifugal atomizing heads, for an even spray, and a patented centrifugal valve to prevent leakage.

Unlike the Agras T30, which has two nozzles that must be changed to change the droplet size, the Agras T40 has two discs that rotate at different speeds, thus offering five droplet size options.

Akron is the representative in Argentina of the DJI line of agricultural drones. see more
