The Indonesian Ministry of Manpower and Jakarta Trilogi University have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to improve the quality of national human resources. The agreement aims to develop the capacity of the workforce in order to meet the demands of the job market. There are four challenges facing Indonesian workers, said Secretary General of the ministry Anwar Sanusi: disruption from digital technology; the development of human resources; managing the demographic bonus; and lower productivity levels compared to other ASEAN countries. To address these challenges, the ministry will work with universities to improve the capability of the workforce.
