in Poland allowed the expansion of the war in Ukraine to the Third world

According to Mateusz Morawiecki, if the Russian Federation is allowed to win the war with Ukraine, then Russian imperialism will not stop there. Therefore, Warsaw does not rule out the option of expanding the conflict to the scale of a world war.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Russian troops must leave the territory of Ukraine. Otherwise, this will require coercion, but in this case it is possible that this could lead to the outbreak of the Third World War. About it says in an interview with the Polish politician to the Spanish edition of El Mundo.

According to Morawiecki, the war in Ukraine will end when Russia decides to withdraw its army, and “either voluntarily or forcibly.” To a clarifying question from journalists whether the “forced” option would lead to World War III, the Polish prime minister replied that Poland was considering all scenarios.

“We consider all scenarios. I have no doubt that if we let the Kremlin win, Russian imperialism will not stop in Ukraine. Russia is a threat to all its neighbors,” Morawiecki said.

Politicians’ statements about the possibility of World War III

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, some politicians, including the leaders of the countries, in one form or another spoke about the threat of the outbreak of the Third World War. In particular, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, during a press conference following a meeting with Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou on November 3, 2022, said that there was no point in discussing Russia’s threats to use nuclear weapons, since this step by the Kremlin would lead to World War III, after which Russia would stop exist.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg suggested on December 10 last year that the fighting in Ukraine could spiral out of control and escalate into a war between Russia and NATO. According to him, there is no doubt that the war in Ukraine could escalate into an armed conflict between the Russian Federation and the NATO bloc, so diplomats are making great efforts to prevent this from happening.

The probability of the beginning of a global world conflict has been repeatedly discussed in the Kremlin. Thus, Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of the Russian Security Council, wrote on his Twitter in November last year that Western countries were waging a “hybrid war” against the Russian Federation. The Russian politician noted that in the current situation, the actions of the West increase the likelihood of a world war.

Meanwhile, Belarusian politician Alexander Lukashenko said that he does not believe in the beginning of the Third World War, although the world has come closer than ever to it. He argued his position by the fact that a global war would lead to the destruction of “everyone and everything”, and no one wants to die.
