Two high-ranking officers of the Rossgvardia (a paramilitary unit subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow) have died as a result of an explosion in the Ukrainian Black Sea peninsula of Crimea, occupied by Russia in 2014.
The guerrilla movement ATESH claimed responsibility for the death of the employees.
“We have long arms and they have reached the nest of the enemy – the Rossguard”, declared the resistance fighters.
“Our people in this criminal organization liquidated the two high-ranking officers who were traveling from Sevastopol to Simferopol. They did not arrive where they were supposed to. They burned in the car,” ATESH added.
“We congratulate our brothers on the successful operation. Our explosive devices, although homemade, are of high quality. Heroes!”, the partisans also pointed out.
“This is just the beginning! Do not be afraid! Fight! Join the ranks of ATESH!”, declared the resistance movement.
ATES announced its existence in September last year. The movement claimed responsibility for the killing of 30 Russian soldiers in Simferopol (November 11) and for setting fire to barracks near the resort of Yalta (December 11). About 800 people are members of the movement. It unites Ukrainians, Crimean Tatars and Russians, a reference to novini.bg.
