Current situation
Last night a long swell from the north began to settle on the Atlantic coast and in the Antigua Channel.
Forecasts
The sea is strong today on the Atlantic coast and in the Antigua channel with nearby troughs of 2m50 generated by a long northerly swell (periods 13 to 15 seconds). Areas affected: North Basse-Terre, North and East Grande-Terre. Big rollers will break on the coasts in the sectors of Deshaies, Ste-Rose, Port-Louis, Anse-Bertrand, Le Moule and Pointe des Châteaux.
Boat moorings may be solicited and some small localized dives are possible. The sea begins to drop during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

At the Grande Vigie wave recorder, at 5:30 local time, we observe: Average dips of 2m60, period of 13 seconds, in a northerly direction.
