NEW YORK – Some New York City trains continued to be shunted Sunday afternoon in parts of Manhattan after a burst water main flooded a station early in the morning.
Water has flooded the station platforms Via Canale after a nearby water main burst filled the Lower Manhattan stop with water. As a result, the 1/2/3 trains had to be diverted several stops.
City crews responded to the station around 10:40 a.m., transit officials said.
It was unclear how long it would take to clear the water.
