Westphalian League SpVgg Erkenschwick wins 5: 4 on penalties
Regionalliga West leaders SC Preußen Münster were eliminated in the second round of the Westfalenpokal. The team led by coach Sascha Hildmann (photo) failed in the Westphalian league team SpVgg Erkenschwick. After 90 minutes without goals, the sixth division team won 5: 4 on penalties.
The two teams of the western regional league SV Rödinghausen and 1. FC Kaan-Marienbaum were also eliminated. Rödinghausen lost 2-1 at RSV Meinerzhagen, Kaan-Marienbaum had to bury the dream of participating in the DFB Cup again at Delbrücker SC (0-3).
