The traditional Xbox conference and the Xbox Series X will be well represented at E3 2020. In the wake of Sony’s announcement, which will skip the American show for the second consecutive year, Phil Spencer spoke on Twitter.
The boss of the Xbox division announces that his team is working hard to prepare for E3 2020. For several years, the American company has stood apart and organized its conference at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, located near the Convention Center where the convention takes place E3, but it is part of the great annual mass of video games. The absence of Sony should once again allow Microsoft to attract the attention of spectators, knowing that the Xbox conference was the most followed by E3 2019 (1.5 million viewers on Twitch).
E3 2020 will therefore be an opportunity to hear from the Xbox Series X and Halo Infinite, which will accompany the release of the console at the end of 2020. Sony has opted for a different communication strategy, preferring to participate in “hundreds of events” dedicated to consumers, without further details at this time.
Our team is working hard on E3, we can’t wait to share what awaits us with everyone who likes to play. Our art form has always been propelled by the intersection between creativity and technical progress. 2020 is a pivotal year in this journey for Team Xbox.
Our team is hard at work on E3, we look forward to sharing with all who love to play what’s ahead for us. Our artform has consistently been propelled by the cross-section of creativity and technical progress. 2020 is a milestone year in that journey for Team Xbox. # XboxE3 # E32020
