Ysselsteyn – “Yes, there are also notorious war criminals here. We don’t hide that either. These people have been there and their deeds have happened,” says Sjoerd Ewals, head of education at the German war cemetery in Ysselsteyn, Limburg. This weekend a new documentation center will be opened there with the aim of giving visitors the insight that the enemy of that time also consisted of people with their own story.
