Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – At the beginning of the week, people in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland expected mostly cloudy weather. The German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach announced that there could be fog in places on Monday morning. During the day it is mostly sunny in the south, north of the Rhine an overcast sky is to be expected. According to the DWD forecast, the maximum values will reach five to eight degrees. In the night to Tuesday it can be foggy again, the temperatures drop to zero to minus three degrees. Values down to minus five degrees are possible in the Eifel. The weather service warns of frost on the roads.

The temperatures reach up to five degrees. The DWD meteorologists also expect clouds and some drizzle on Wednesday. With highs of between two and five degrees, it will remain mostly dry.
