‘ABN Amro sells head office at Zuidas’ | Financial

The deal is said to be worth just under €750 million, sources close to the negotiations say. This is reported by the Real Estate Market platform.

It is not yet clear what exactly will happen to the office. The office on the Zuidas will probably be demolished, because it no longer meets the current sustainability requirements. It is the intention that several towers with both office and residential functions will be used.

ABN Amro itself will remain a tenant in its former office until 2025. After this, the bank will definitively leave the office that was the start of the Zuidas in the 1990s and will settle in an office on Foppingadreef in Amsterdam-Zuidoost that is being redeveloped by Edge.
