The snow hinders the movement on the main road arteries in Western Bulgaria.

On the Trakia Motorway in the direction of Sofia there are big traffic jams and stuck cars, in the opposite direction there is a snow cover and the traffic is difficult.

The road situation throughout the country is complicated by heavy snow and rain

The situation of Hemus Motorway is similar. Citizens report difficult passage and uncleaned pavement. It is also difficult to cross the Pernik-Sofia road through Vladaya.

The warning of the weather forecasters for dangerous weather remains in force until midnight. Snow cover between 5 and 15 centimeters is forming in the western half of the country and hinders traffic in some places.

Yellow code for heavy snowfalls and gusts has been announced in 10 districts of Western and Northern Bulgaria. In 7 districts a yellow code has been issued for rainfall and strong wind in Southern Bulgaria and Pleven region.
