TODAY’s Phoenicid Meteor Shower Peak, Here’s How To Watch It

This meteor shower originates from the dust remnants of Comet 289P/Blanpain, which orbits the sun for 5.1 years.

This meteor shower can be witnessed on Monday (12/6/2021) at the beginning of nautical twilight, which is 20 minutes after sunset until Tuesday (7/12/2021) at 02.15 local time from the southeast to the southwest.

The intensity of this meteor shower for Indonesia is around 51 meteors per hour in Sabang.

While on Rote Island, the intensity of this meteor shower is up to 74 meteors/hour.
