Call of Duty: Vanguard officially confirmed and won teaser

after many rumors, leaks and even one PS Store page, Activision has finally confirmed the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard, the next big game in the franchise.

Although the detailed reveal of the game is still scheduled for August 19 (14:30 GMT), through Warzone, the company has released the first official teaser and screenshots of the game.

Through the video, we can see glimpses of some of the playable characters, as well as the scenarios in which the game should take place, confirming that we will be revisiting WWII in this new adventure.

For now, we still don’t know which platforms the game will be available on, or when it will be released, but the official revelation promises to be huge.

Call of Duty: Vanguard: PS Store Accidentally Confirms Game Release Date

a few days ago, Some images of the supposed Call of Duty: Vanguard started circulating on the internet, new game of the franchise that had already been previously appointed by Activision.

This week, new information about the game was revealed, this time thanks to an oversight by the PlayStation Store developers.

As reported by several users, a new tab with information about the game appeared in the digital store and in the PlayStation application, indicating that the revelation will take place this Thursday (19th), at 3:30 pm (GMT).

As rumors indicated, the revelation of the new game will take place within Call of Duty: Warzone, but other news may happen on the 19th, in together with a supposedly new edition of State of Play.

As with Black Ops Cold War last year, the reveal of Call of Duty: Vanguard in Warzone should be tied to some special missions, which unlock a preview of the new game.

Call of Duty: Vanguard: Supposed new game footage leaks before official announcement

through the Call of Duty: Warzone Season Five Archives, some fans found archives of Call of Duty: Vanguard, the new game in the franchise that Activision is preparing to officially unveil on August 19th.

The company had already confirmed that he was working on a new title in the saga scheduled for release in late 2021 and that Sledgehammer Games is leading the project, but had not revealed a name for the game or the setting in which it would take place.

After a lot of speculation regarding the Vanguard name and World War II, the images discovered in the battle royale reveal not only the name, but also the contents of the different editions of the game. As we can see, if you want to have the game on different console generations (PS4/PS5 or Xbox One/Series), you will have to pay extra for it.

Lucas, Polina and Wade are the Operators that appear in the images, along with weapons such as Snowstorm, Thunderhead and Breacher, which can be used in Campaign, Multiplayer or Zombies modes, which take place in European and Pacific locations during World War II. The plot revolves around the origin of the Special Forces that you’ve followed in other games that have been released.
