After having been relocated to Brazil due to numerous cases of Covid-19 in Argentina, the Copa América is more than ever threatened by the coronavirus.
After just two days of competition, more than 41 cases of Covid-19 have been detected among the selections participating in the Copa América. “41 cases of Covid-19 have been reported, including 31 among players and members of delegations, and ten among service providers hired for the event,” the Brazilian Ministry of Health informed.
At the start of the competition, 13 had tested positive for Venezuela and 4 for Bolivia.
