J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potterseries, Wednesday introduced the Harry Potter at Home project. The project should “bring some magic” during lockdown. Visitors to the website receive free access to, among other things Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the first book in the series.
“Parents, teachers and caregivers trying to keep kids amused and interested during lockdown may need some magic. That’s why I’m happy to introduce harrypotterathome.com”, tweet Rowling.
The author hopes to bring the world of the Harry Potter character to families in this way. “Hogwarts (Hogwarts wizarding school, ed.) Has been a place to escape for more than twenty years. In the weird time we live in now, we want to welcome you again”, is in a statement to read.
The website also provides access to assignments, craft videos, quizzes, puzzles and articles.
