The Zurich City Police are looking for witnesses.

On Saturday evening, shortly after 6 p.m., a couple went to their parked car on Bleicherweg in Zurich District 1 towards the city center. When the man was about to get into the car, the watch was suddenly torn from his wrist by an unknown man. The Zurich city police wrote this in a media release.
The unknown perpetrator fled towards Talstrasse and then towards the lake. The 62-year-old victim tried to pursue the perpetrator, but fell so unhappy that he was injured and had to be taken to hospital. The alleged perpetrator is a 30-40 year old man with a firm stature and short black hair that he shaved short on the sides. He wore a white T-shirt and black shorts.
People who can provide information about the incident on Saturday evening, June 12, 2021, shortly after 6:00 p.m., at Bleicherweg, near Schanzengraben, in Zurich’s district 1, are asked to contact the Zurich city police, tel. 0 444 117 117, to report.
