In order to increase the willingness to vaccinate, it is not only important to properly inform people about the vaccine in question, but also to debunk myths about vaccination. Researchers at Amsterdam UMC have come to this conclusion after a study in collaboration with colleagues from Cambridge and New York. “Especially by refuting misinformation, people believe that a vaccine helps,” summarizes researcher Hamza Yousuf.
