AXA, the “undoubtedly” Bitcoin company – A real small earthquake has just occurred in the very serious world of insurance. The Swiss branch of AXA will now accept Bitcoin from its customers. The latter will then be able to pay their invoices, no longer from their bank account, but directly from one of their wallet during the BTC account.

Bitcoin, a popular payment method?
AXA, which is the second largest insurance company in Europe, has just announced by a communicated that she was going now accept payments in BTC for the payments of its customers. It is also the premier insurer multirisques suisse to offer such an opportunity to its policyholders.
The insurer made this decision to “Meet growing demand” of its customers for such a service. This payment option was implemented at the beginning of this April.
To pay in BTC, policyholders must go to the site invoice.inapay.ch/axa, enter the Reference number of their contract as well as the amount to be paid (in Swiss francs). As can be seen in the example below, the amount in Swiss francs is converted to bitcoin transparently and automatically. The insured then only has to return receiving address from AXA (either manually or by scanning the QR code), then sending the amount defined in BTC.

Little icing on the cake: payment options with cryptos other than Bitcoin are also planned ” in the near future “, even if AXA announces that it prefers to first acquire a little experience with this type of crypto-payments thanks to its BTC option.
By accepting payments in BTC, this is one more sector that AXA is opening up to the king of cryptos. Customer demand seems to be decisive here, which proves how important each crypto enthusiast has to play, in helping the adoption of cryptocurrencies by more and more businesses and organizations.
