Sierck-les-Bains. A sexagenarian hit by a car in front of the town hall

This Friday March 19, shortly before noon, an accident occurred in front of the town hall of Sierck-les-Bains. A sexagenarian who was crossing at the pedestrian crossing was run over by a vehicle traveling in the direction of Apach-Thionville.

The victim, a resident of Kirschnaumen, was only slightly injured, his condition did not cause any concern. Supported by the Sierck firefighters, she was transported to Bel-Air hospital for check-ups. The gendarmes of the Rettel brigade, present on the spot,, for their part, interviewed the driver of the vehicle in question and carried out a blood alcohol screening which turned out to be negative. The precise circumstances of this accident remain to be clarified.
