Inspectors Goren and Eames suspect a businessman he lost heavily and a business executive with whom he allegedly had a murky connection. The investigation also reveals that he frequented gay dating sites. The business leader is murdered in turn, then a young woman from a poor neighborhood. The only point the victims have in common is the kindergarten their children attended.
