Education: Change of staff in the state education authority in Dillingen

Andrea Eisenreich is Wilhelm Martin’s successor

As early as October 1, 2020, there was a change in the management of the State Education Office
Dillingen
. Education authority director Wilhelm Martin retired at the end of September. Andrea Eisenreich was appointed successor.

According to the press release, the change at the top should take place in the autumn in the form of a face-to-face event, at which Martin would have said goodbye and Eisenreich introduced to her role. This was not possible because of the corona pandemic.

District Administrator Leo Schrell, as legal director, takes the change in the technical management as an opportunity to thank Martin for his decades of dedicated work in the school service, including as the technical director of the education authority in the district of Dillingen since 2009. “Education authority director Wilhelm Martin always has a high level of professional competence and empathy acts and thus shaped the educational landscape in the district in the area of elementary and middle schools with good educational offers, ”emphasizes Schrell. It was always important to him to sustainably strengthen the middle schools as an unchanged important type of school, and thus to open up prospects for future vocational training for young people.

At the same time, Martin contributed his professional experience to numerous projects, measures and initiatives. In this context, Schrell mentions, in addition to the working group for school and business, above all the job information fair Fit for Job, the university day, the edition of the textbook for the 40th anniversary of the district and the certification of the district as an educational region in Bavaria.

The district is by no means alien to Eisenreich. From 1993 to 1995 she completed her legal clerkship at the Josef-Anton-Laucher-Volksschule in Dillingen. Before moving to the state education authority in the Donau-Ries district in February 2017, she was the rector of the Dillingen elementary school for six years and previously the rector of the Josef-Anton-Laucher-Volksschule Dillingen and the elementary school Bächingen.

“I took on the responsibility as the technical director of the Dillingen State Education Authority with great motivation and received a lot of support from the school management in the district, for which I am very grateful,” emphasizes Eisenreich three months after taking on the new task. She is particularly pleased about the constructive cooperation with everyone who is involved in the further development of primary and secondary schools for the benefit of the students.

“Ensuring the quality of education and instruction requires an intensive exchange with the school management and the school families on site,” said Eisenreich. This networking is very important to her and at the same time allows her to build on the many fruitful contacts that have emerged during her previous professional activity in the district. (pm)
