L.-Transitional provisions.

1. For the national order of physicians:

-the full and alternate members of the national council and of the departmental councils are divided into three fractions numbered respectively 1, 2 or 3 according to the date of their election and the chronological order of expiry of their six-year mandate;

– the mandate of the members of the first fraction expiring after the publication of this law is extended for a period of two years;

-the members of the second fraction are, after drawing of lots carried out in plenary session by the national or departmental body to which they belong, divided into two equal groups or, where appropriate, by half rounded to the nearest whole number . The mandate of the advisers of the first group is not modified. The mandate of the advisers of the second group is extended for a period of three years;

– the first renewal by half of the councils will take place at the end of the mandate of the second fraction and the second renewal, concerning the members of the second group constituted in the previous paragraph and those of the third fraction, whose mandate is extended by one year , will intervene three years later;

-the elections whose date has been announced before the publication of this law will continue according to the procedure in force on the date of the announcement.

2. For the national order of midwives:

a) For the renewal of the national council:

– the mandate of the national councilor elected in 2004 is extended for a period of two years and will end in 2012;

– the mandate of the national councilors elected in 2006 is not modified and will end in 2012;

– the mandate of the national councilors elected in 2008 is extended for a period of one year and will end in 2015;

b) For the renewal of departmental councils:

-the departmental councils are made up of three sets of councilors with a six-year mandate. The series are numbered respectively 1, 2 or 3 according to their next renewal in chronological order;

– the mandate of the first series is extended for a period of two years;

– for the councilors of the second series, the office of the departmental council distributes by lot, in public session, the seats by half. The mandate of the advisers of the first half drawn by lot remains unchanged. The mandate of the councilors of the second half drawn by lot is extended for a period of three years;

– the mandate of the advisers of the third series is extended for a period of one year;

– the first renewal by half of the councils will take place at the end of the mandate of the second series and the second renewal three years later.

3. For the national order of dental surgeons:

a) For the renewal of the national council:

– for the councilors elected in 2009, the office of the national council distributes by lot, in public session, the four seats which will have a six-year mandate which will end in 2015 and the three seats which will have a three-year mandate which will end in 2012;

-the mandate of the councilors elected in 2005 is extended for a period of one year and will end in 2012;

– the mandate of the councilors elected in 2007 is extended for a period of two years and will end in 2015;

-the first renewal by half of the national council will take place in 2012 and the second in 2015;

b) For the renewal of departmental councils:

– for the councilors who will be elected in 2010, the office of each departmental council distributes by lot, in public session, the seats by half;

– the mandate of the advisers of the first half drawn by lot is for a period of three years and will end in 2013;

– the mandate of the councilors of the second half drawn by lot remains unchanged and will end in 2016;

– the mandate of the councilors elected in 2006 is extended for a period of one year and will end in 2013;

– the mandate of the councilors elected in 2008 is extended for a period of two years and will end in 2016;

-the first renewal by half of the boards will take place in 2013 and the second in 2016.

4. For the national order of pharmacists:

-the term of office of ordinal councilors elected or appointed in 2007 is increased to five years;

-the term of office of the ordinal councilors elected in 2009 to replace councilors elected in 2007 is extended to three years;

-the other councilors elected or appointed in 2009 have a mandate of six years;

-the offices elected in May or June 2009 have a three-year mandate;

-the members of the central council of section B elected in 2007 or 2009 will retain their mandate, respectively, until June 2012 or June 2015;

-after the drawing of lots following the election of the members of the central council H mentioned in 2 ° of XLV, the terms of office of these members will expire, respectively, in June 2012 or June 2015.
