A 65-year-old Ottawa businessman will face justice over stories of fraud.
James Pellerin allegedly fraudulently obtained money by offering investment opportunities in a new housing project in Carleton Place.
The charges allegedly occurred in 2016-2017.
The accused is said to have claimed at least 13 victims and the financial losses amount to more than $ 600,000.
Moreover, the authorities believe that there could be other victims in this case.
