Keur Mboucki (Birkelane), Dec 22 (APS) – A waste collection and treatment project was launched on Tuesday in Keur Mboucki, a town located in the Kaffrine region (center), APS found.
The initiative is financially supported by GIZ, the German international development cooperation agency. It is part of a program called “Succeed in Senegal”.
“It is a project that promotes green jobs (…) We have granted it a subsidy of more than 30 million CFA francs, to create direct and indirect jobs”, explained Fatoumata Sy Sall, who heads the “Succeed in Senegal” initiative, which targets the regions of Diourbel, Fatick, Kaffrine and Kaolack (center).
