Naughty Dog digital artist Hailey Del Rio signs an unreleased artwork for The Last of Us 2 that celebrates Halloween by embodying the spirit of this holiday with a disturbing composition starring Ellie the Infected.
The designer of the software house inside the PlayStation Studios thus invites all fans of Sony’s post-apocalyptic epic to admire this work of hers and download it at its original resolution from the Naughty Dog social pages.
The artwork created by Del Rio immortalizes the brave Ellie at the center of a hellish “organic forest” which, when viewed from a broader perspective, reveals the monstrous face of a Clicker of The Last of Us series. The Clicker proposed by the digital artist presents the unmistakable growths and ridges that disfigure the face due to the advanced stage of zombizzante infertility gives Cordyceps, which took place after the fictional pandemic narrated in the series and remembered as Outbreak Day before the name change decided this year by Neil Druckmann’s team for the reasons we can easily guess.
