The number of confirmed cases in the cricket boiler Asan plant increased significantly.
This is the result of an inspection conducted on more than 640 employees.
The quarantine authorities are concerned that the infection may have spread as employees contact families and acquaintances during the Lunar New Year holidays.
In fact, employees who visited their hometowns in Daegu and Gyeongsan, Gyeongsangbuk-do have been confirmed, and family infections are also following.
Citizens flocked to the Temporary Screening Clinic who wanted to undergo an examination because of the possibility.

Most of the confirmed cases are residents of Cheonan and Asan, and it is known that employees visit the stores near the factory frequently.

Epidemiological investigations by the quarantine authorities confirmed that some employees were poorly wearing masks.
Viruses were detected in six places, including the warmer and changing rooms in the office where employees stayed, and dense, sealed, and closely-called’three-mild environments’ were pointed out as the cause of the collective infection.
In particular, it was investigated that the ventilation of the workplace and the lounge was not smooth.
To prevent further spread, the quarantine authorities are discussing ways to expand the subject of diagnostic tests to families of employees across the plant.
