The number of patients related to the Administrative Welfare Center in Busa-dong, Daejeon, where the first confirmed yesterday was confirmed, has increased to eight.

Welfare assistants who act as administrative assistants were first confirmed, and after that, welfare center staff and family members were tested positive one after another.

A confirmed person came out at the inauguration ceremony of the Busa Chilseok Preservation Chairman, where the first confirmed person went.

In Gwangju, where church-related group infections have increased rapidly, face-to-face worship is prohibited until the 10th.

In the midst of this, a church in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, was caught conducting a face-to-face service.

At 8 o’clock yesterday evening, it was investigated that a face-to-face service was held with about 40 members present.

Many of these people left the church after being caught.

The quarantine authorities will accuse the church official of violating the Infectious Disease Prevention Act.

This church was also accused of having a face-to-face service in December last year for violating the quarantine guidelines.

We will also look at the situation in Busan. The GR group virus was confirmed in a confirmed person at Gamcheon Port. What does it mean?

[기자]

The city of Busan requested a genetic study of 5 out of 50 confirmed cases of Gamcheon Port group infection.

Of these, GR virus was detected in 4 cases and GH virus was detected in 1 case.

Currently, the virus that is currently prevalent in Korea such as Busan is the GH virus.

Therefore, it is highly likely that the recent mass infection in ports in Busan, such as Gamcheon Port, was caused by the influx of Russian sailors and other foreign countries.

The quarantine authorities plan to further investigate crews who have recently entered the country to determine the exact route of infection.

The GR virus is known to have a stronger spread than the existing GH virus.

The British mutant virus also belongs to this GR group.

This is the second time that the GR virus was detected after the case of the crew of the Russian ship Peterwon who arrived in Gamcheon Port last year.
