YTN has been reporting various illegal and illegal issues surrounding’Hansol Papertech’, a paper factory in Damyang, Jeollanam-do since yesterday.
In this factory, more than 50 cases of illegal structures have been detected since 2018, but the restoration to its original state has not yet been done.

However, a large part of the factory site is a restricted area for the so-called’green belt’ development.

The total site of Hansol Papertech’s plant is 32,000 square meters.
Of this, only 25% of the general industrial area is.
All others belong to the development restricted area.
Nevertheless, it was revealed that Hansol Papertech had built illegal buildings in development-restricted areas without notification or permission.
Since 2018, it has been counted that more than 50 illegal acts have been found on the site of Hansol Papertech three times.
Steel-framed works were attached to the exterior wall of the factory building at will.
The place that used to be a parking lot was used by stacking waste.
There were 29 corrective orders issued last year, but only 11 were implemented.

Hansol Papertech explained that the law was revised and installation was essential, or that the facility was built that was essential for the operation of the factory.
What was immediately possible was that it was restored to its original state but filed an administrative lawsuit against 18 cases.
He explained the reason for filing a lawsuit, saying, “If it is not clear whether it is illegal, or if you are concerned about adverse effects on the surrounding environment when following a corrective order, legal judgment is necessary.”
Even though the village and neighboring factories have committed illegal and illegal laws several times and have been caught by local government crackdowns, residents are outraged by the attitude of delaying restoration.
