Liverpool said on the club’s official website on the 29th (Korean time): “Liverpool have agreed to recruit Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven. He accepted the personal terms and successfully completed his medical exam at the AXA Training Center. He will officially become a Liverpool player when the transfer window opens in January.”
Gakpo has finally donned a Liverpool shirt. His stellar performances at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar piqued the interest of various teams, who ultimately chose Liverpool. Already on his team, he ranks first in both goals and assists with 9 goals and 12 assists.

Born and raised in Eindhoven, Gakpo made his professional debut in February 2018. Since then, he has scored 55 goals in 159 games and won the League Cup in April this year. The focus is on what he will show on stage in the Premier League wearing the Liverpool kit.
