Ulsan Hyundai, a professional football team, won the K-League for the first time in 17 years.
Ulsan was carried away by conceding a penalty to Daewon Kim in the away match against Gangwon in K League 1, but won a 2-1 comeback win with goals from Wonsang Um and Martin Adam to secure the title regardless of the result of the remaining match.
This is Ulsan’s third K-League win and his first in 17 years since 2005.
Martin Adam, who came as a substitute against Gangwon and scored a goal and an assist, led the team to victory by scoring an equalizer and a comeback goal in their last match against Jeonbuk in the 36th round.
