The professional soccer K-League kicks off a long campaign this weekend.
With Ulsan and Jeonbuk expected to compete fiercely for the championship, the pride battle between the two teams was heated from the opening Media Day.

In the presence of the coaches and representative players of the 12 K League 1 teams, we reveal our determination for this season.
Defending champion Ulsan coach Hong Myung-bo, who won the championship last season, threw his vote first.

This season, as Ulsan and Jeonbuk are expected to compete fiercely for the championship, Jeonbuk coach Kim Sang-sik threw a strong check against Ulsan.

Representative players from Ulsan and Jeonbuk, Jeong Seung-hyun and Hong Jeong-ho, declared war on each other with a war of words without concessions.
[정승현 / 울산 주장 : 다른 팀들도 다 이기고 싶고 다 이겨야 합니다. 하지만 전북을 반드시 이기고 싶습니다.]
[홍정호 / 전북 주장 : 재밌네요. 울산에 3승을 거둔다면 너무나 좋을 것 같습니다.]
Media Day, which was held prior to the opening of the K-League this weekend, was attended by about 200 fans and added meaning.
The K-League official intro video this season and the official 40th anniversary theme song ‘Dynamic Pitch’ were released to warm up the opening atmosphere.
