The government is emphasizing the safety of the vaccine, but criticism that it did not obtain a larger amount earlier or earlier is inevitable.

As the need for vaccine introduction increases amid the corona 19 pandemic and public opinion worsens, the government is doing its best to confirm the introduction of the vaccine.
As a result, following AstraZeneca, a contract was signed with Janssen and Pfizer, and the Pfizer vaccine is striving to accelerate its introduction.

The government also said that there is no need to get the vaccine first, saying that the situation is different from other countries, without explaining why the delay in the introduction of the vaccine has spread to public officials’ immunity controversy and political battles.

AstraZeneca vaccines are available in February-March and Janssen in April-May, so even if up to 16 million people are vaccinated, at least 60% of the population must form antibodies, which is insufficient for population immunity.
