The number of new corona19 patients fell by 41 from the previous day, dropping to 300 in four days.
The Central Defense Response Headquarters announced that as of 0 o’clock today, there were 362 confirmed cases in Korea, and 83,199 were accumulated.
The slight decrease in the number of confirmed cases seems to be due to the decrease in the number of tests during the Lunar New Year holidays.
A total of 257 people occurred in the metropolitan area, including 131 in Seoul, 97 in Gyeonggi and 29 in Incheon, surpassing 70% of the total.
Patients came from 15 cities and provinces including Busan, Daegu, and Chungnam, excluding Jeonnam and Jeju.
The number of people killed by Corona 19 increased by 7 and the cumulative death toll in Korea reached 1,514.
The number of severely ill patients decreased by 4 to 157, and the number of cured patients increased by 291 to 73,227.
There were 17 new overseas inflows, of which 5 were confirmed during quarantine.
