It was belatedly known that RM, the leader of the BTS group, visited Hwaeomsa Temple on Mount Jirisan, Gurye, Jeollanam-do to get musical inspiration.
According to the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism Hwaeomsa Temple, on December 29 last year, RM and music producer San Kang traveled to Hwaeomsa Temple on a two-day, one-night schedule using public transportation.
RM is said to have visited Hwaeomsa for personal relaxation and inspiration for his music.
When the head monk, Venerable Deokmun, asked him if he was sad about not being exempt from military service, RM replied that he wanted to fulfill his duty as a citizen and considered it an adult time, Hwaeomsa said.
After the chat, RM walked the “Mother’s Road” of acting research for inspiration for music, and left leaving a message saying he would definitely visit Hwaeomsa Temple again.
