U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Alix Aza says Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine could be approved by health authorities within days.
Delivery will be delivered as soon as FDA approval is issued, and vaccinations are expected to begin as early as next week.
Canada has also approved the use of the Pfizer vaccine.

Minister Aza said the Food and Drug Administration and the FDA could approve the use of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine within days.
He then stressed that once approval was granted, the vaccine would be delivered to whatever the governors said.
He explained that the first targets will be health care workers and nursing home residents.
It has confirmed that 20 million people will be vaccinated by the end of this year and 50 million by the end of January.

He added, however, that the vaccine will be available to the general public around February-March next year, and that the governors will prioritize.
The U.S. government’s high-speed operations team first started shipping the medical tools needed to rush the vaccination.
It also stated that the vaccine was ready to be shipped within 24 hours after approval.

Among these, Canada also approved the use of the Pfizer vaccine for the third time after the UK and Bahrain.
The Canadian government plans to start delivery next week, starting with the vulnerable, including residents and employees of long-term care facilities.
