The White House response team hoped that the death toll would decrease within the next few weeks as the U.S. COVID-19 infections are on a downward trajectory.
The variable for further spread is the mutant virus, which advises practicing social distancing and overwriting masks.

The number of corona19 infections in the U.S. began to decline after hitting a high of 300,000 people earlier last month.

Wellensky warned, however, that the number of infections is still very high and that mutations continue to circulate, especially, so you should not be vigilant.
