The US Congress has officially certified Joe Biden’s candidate to be elected as the next US president.
The US Congress completed the process of certifying Joe Biden’s next presidential election through a joint meeting of the House of Representatives in the early morning of the 7th local time.
The US presidential election result was still 306 vs. 232.
Initially, the Congress was held in the afternoon local time, but the meeting was once stopped when President Trump’s supporters broke into the building.
Afterwards, Congress re-meeted at night, voted for validity in Arizona and Pennsylvania by dawn, and finally declared Biden’s presidential election.
