[국제]”Russian-China and North Korea compete for the export of fighter jets…

Russian online media reported that Russia’s plans to export new MiG fighters to North Korea are being challenged by China, which has made its own cheaper fighters.

Avia.pro, an online media specializing in aviation, said that China is interfering with the export of the Russian fighter MiG-35 to North Korea at a lower price. -Introducing the competition.

According to reports, North Korea plans to modernize its air force fighters on a large scale in the near future, and to this end, Russia has been actively considering the introduction of a new fighter MiG-35 deployed by Russia since last year.

However, as China persuaded North Korea to buy its own fighter at a much lower price, it is disrupting the Russia-North Korea deal.

As Chinese fighters competing with the Russian MiG-35, the Zen(J)-10C fighter is being discussed.

The MiG-35, which is classified as a 4.5 generation fighter by improving the existing MiG-29M and MiG-29K models, entered the test flight in 2017 and started to be deployed in the Russian Air Force in mid-2019.

It is classified as ‘4.5th generation’ due to its limited stealth performance, although it is inferior to the fifth generation stealth fighter F-35 of the United States or the Sukhoi (Su)-57 of Russia’s fifth generation stealth fighter.

The Chinese-made J-10C, which is also the 4.5th generation fighter, is evaluated as cheap to purchase and operate, and its performance is comparable to that of the Russian MiG-35.

North Korea has been unable to introduce new fighters in the last 20 years, and the air force has been evaluated as being quite technically lagging.
