Protests demanding the release of Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalni in custody have sporaded across the Russian Far East.
According to local media, small protests were held in major cities in the Russian Far East, including the Maritime Territory, on the 31st, demanding the release of Navalni at strict guards from security authorities.
The Sputnik news agency reported that about 60 people each took part in the protests in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.
It appears that the scale has been significantly reduced compared to the protests on the 23rd as authorities imposed strong sanctions.
The Russian Interior Ministry has previously made the protest illegal and foretold strong response and punishment.
