Israel has decided to completely ban the take-off and landing of all international airliners for six days starting on the 26th to block the influx of the COVID-19 mutant virus.

In the Netherlands, police fired water cannons to quell protests against a nighttime curfew introduced to prevent the spread of the mutant virus.

The Israeli government held a ministerial meeting on the 24th of the local time and approved the proposed suspension of international flights by a meeting of authorities presided over by the Prime Minister.

This is a measure to prevent the further introduction of the COVID-19 mutant virus.

With this decision, takeoff and landing of all international airliners at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv will be banned for six days from 0:00 local time on the 26th to the 31st, when the third blockade ends.
