In line with the Biden administration’s announcement of further support for Ukraine, the finance and foreign ministers of the seven major G7 countries also continued to provide swift support.

Russian President Putin has once again expressed his principled stance that he hopes for an early end to the war through diplomacy, drawing attention from within.

Ukrainian President Zelensky, clad in his trademark combat uniform, commanded the US Congress with his characteristic display, saying, “There is no surrender.”

At the same time, additional military support of more than 2 trillion won was secured, including Patriot missiles.

Later, on his way back, he met with the president of Poland, which borders Ukraine, to discuss strengthening strategic relations and countermeasures against Russia.

Poland has donated the second largest amount of weapons to Ukraine after the United States, and there are 1.5 million Ukrainian refugees living in Poland.

Russia criticized Zelensky’s visit to the United States as evidence of a proxy war by the United States, saying that providing Patriot would not prevent Russia from achieving its goals.

However, Russian President Putin has since met with reporters and revealed that he hopes for an early end to the war through diplomacy, although it is a principled position and the focus is on the inner meaning.

On this day, Russia released a video in which the defense minister visited the frontline battlefield.

In line with the Biden administration’s announcement of further support for Ukraine, the G7 finance and foreign ministers of the seven major countries followed suit.

G7 finance ministers pledged to continue their support, saying they have provided $32.7 billion to Ukraine this year and secured $32 billion next year to help with finances.

The G7 foreign ministers also announced they would continue to step up aid to Ukraine which is battling the bitter cold along with the protracted war.

However, in the Republican Party, which will become the majority in the House of Representatives in the next US Congress, opinions are divided, such as the need to investigate whether support funds are being used properly versus continued support for Ukraine.
