Individual owners with global income this year must pay global income tax by the 30th of this year.
The National Tax Service announced today that it has sent a notice to 1.31 million people, excluding those subject to extension of office, among the 1.4 million people subject to prepayment of the global income tax.
The interim payment of the global income tax is equivalent to half of the global income tax for the immediately preceding taxable period.
The National Tax Service has decided to ex officio extend the payment deadline of 3 months until February 28 next year for 93,000 people, including taxpayers in the areas affected by Typhoon Hinnamno and those entitled to compensation for COVID-19 losses. as well as mourners and injured families linked to the Itaewon incident.
